Spring Mini Sessions

I have been wanting to have a Spring Mini Session, but because of all of the rain it has been hard to find a day. Anyway...hopefully everything will work out for the first weekend in May. So on May 2 I will be having a portrait mini session. Location still to be determined. I want to make sure that there are plenty of flowers in bloom.

Details
*session will last about 25 -30 minutes
*you will get a private online gallery with 6 - 10 proofs
*you will receive a complimentary 5x7 portrait
*cost is $25
*option of purchasing the digital negatives for $5 per proof

Sweet Sixteen

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting up with about 10 girls for a photo shoot. It was Rae's 16th birthday and she wanted to commemorate it by taking pictures of her and her friends. We had so much fun. We started out at VSU's north campus and then we headed downtown. I took so many pictures so it was very hard for me to decide which ones to post...but here are a few that I really liked.

We really wanted to get this shot but I could not find anywhere to stand so that I would be above them so I just held my camera out over them and took the picture. It took several shots to get it right, but I really like the result!!!

And this time I am on the ground looking up at them.

This is probably my favorite from the day. I love downtown for pictures!!!

Spring Has Sprung....well almost!!! :)

Locks of Love

Bailee has been wanting to get her hair cut for quite some time, but I have been very hesitant because she has such beautiful long hair. And not to mention this will be the first real haircut she has ever had (besides the occasional trim). After thinking it over, Matthew and I decided that it was OK for her to get it cut. A friend of mine suggested that since she does have long hair, that she donate it to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is an organization that makes wigs from real hair and donates them to children who, for many medical reasons, have lost their hair. Bailee thought this was a great idea so that is what we did. Today was the day...we went to see Mr. Kenny at Kent's Styling Salon on Baytree and he did a great job. He cut 10 inches off her hair which is the minimum requirement for Locks of Love. And Bailee LOVES her new haircut. She cannot keep her hands out of it...she keeps saying it is so soft.

Fathter Daughter Dance

Tonight Bailee and Matthew went to the Father Daughter Dance with some very good friends of ours...Kevin, Katherine and Caroline and Jeremy and Emma. They had the best time. I had the honor of capturing some images of them to make sure they remember this special night with their Daddy. We decided to go downtown for the "photo shoot." I love shooting downtown. There are so many places to go...so all of your pictures have a different feel. I have not finished editing all of them, but I just had to post a few!!!

Chloe

I know I am late with this post, but here is my new niece Chloe. I am so excited to be an aunt and I will have to say that she loves me too :)!!! Here are a few images that I was able to get a couple of weeks ago. You can bet that I will be posting a lot of Chloe in the future.
